Riley as an Easter Chick. Riley has a special place in the hearts of the SPCA Volunteers because he found his "forever home" while living at the SPCA. His sweet disposition and loving nature will always make him special in our hearts. Check out our Happy Tails page for a picture of Riley with his new sister, Evie!

You probably recognize Chelsea Gunnels and her dog Ariat as the 3rd place winner in the 2011 Easter Egg Hunt. What you might not have noticed, are the matching outfits worn by Chelsea and Ariat. Her Mom did a great job and both of them looked totally adorable!

Look closely at this picture or you won't find the dog! That is Lilly in the Easter Basket held by her proud owner Judy Tobias. When we first saw her Saturday, we weren't sure this was a real dog in the basket. Lilly participated in the Easter Egg Hunt and seemed to have a great time.

Just in case you didn't believe that was a real dog, this is Lilly checking out the Easter Eggs she found. That was a lot of work for a little girl!

Look closely at this picture too! That isn't a stuffed toy sitting beside Mason Long, that is his miniature Maltipoo, Delta who was also the 2nd Place Winner in the Easter Egg Hunt. She looks like a little ball of "fluff" but she was a quick study when it came time to find the eggs.

This is a little long-haired chihuahua owned by Brenda Westbrook. She came dressed as a "flower child" and that sweet face says it all. She also had an Easter Bonnet but took it off to make sure everyone could see her pretty face.

Baxter came dressed as a bumblebee and is being held by Jim Johnson, his proud owner. Baxter was adopted by Jim Johnson from the SPCA. Baxter had been rescued from poor living conditions but hadn't let those tough times dampen his loving spirit. Baxter was blessed to have found a loving home with a family who appreciates this special little guy.

Kinsey is another former SPCA resident who found a family that appreciated her great personality and sweet smile. It's hard to tell who is happier, Kinsey or her owner, Gill Robinson. Seeing them together makes all of the hard work worthwhile!!

The dogs who found the most easter eggs and their families.
